Will this hinder my view?
ExoShield is engineered for a high level of optical clarity to ensure your view of the road remains unobstructed. When installed on a new windshield, ExoShield only reduces visible light transmittance by 1.5%, which is not noticeable to the naked eye.
Will my windshield wipers harm the film?
Windshield wipers themselves will not scratch ExoShield Windshield Protection Film. However, there is still a risk of scratching — if your wiper blade is dirty from sand or debris from the road.

What do I need to care for my Windshield Protection?
You don’t need to apply any special treatment after we install the ExoShield Windshield Protection to your vehicle. However, ExoShield has some recommendations to extend its lifetime.
A simple wipe-down with a damp microfibre cloth is enough to keep your ExoShield looking like new for longer. They also suggest regularly checking your wipers for wear, cracking of rubber, and residue under wipers, as these can leave marks if let go for long enough. You can clean your wipers by taking a damp microfibre cloth or paper towel and wipe along the underside of the blade.
Do I need special wiper blades after getting ExoShield?
No. Any kind of wiper blades will work with ExoShield windshield protection film. We highly suggest you clean your wiper blades regularly to maintain a long lasting finish.
What happens if my windshield cracks or breaks with ExoShield installed?
ExoShield helps prevent windshield damage every day, but we also know that accidents can happen and ExoShield is not bulletproof.
